It’s been three months since we launched mamabella and what a three months it’s been!

The response we’ve received to our mission to make beauty more inclusive has been incredibly heartwarming and we’re so grateful for all of your comments, likes, shares, emails and interactions. 

As we explain on our About page, mamabella is a health and beauty website aimed at everyday people – those of us with dark circles, fine lines, blemishes, oily skin, thinning hair, bingo wings, wobbly bits and more.

Feeling beautiful should be a human right. Makeup should empower, not intimidate. Taking care of yourself is not about ego, it’s about confidence. As a result, our ethos is to continue to create an approachable, friendly and accessible beauty site aimed at anyone who is short on time, short on money and who doesn’t feel like the beauty industry “sees them”.  

To say thank you, and to celebrate our first three months, we’re giving you the chance to win a prize for you and someone special in your life! 

How to enter the competition

Simply enter your name and email address to subscribe to the mamabella newsletter using the form below. You must also use this form to nominate a person in your life who is beautiful both inside and out. Please include a brief explanation as to why you have chosen to nominate that person. 

If you’re already a newsletter subscriber (thank you so much, we love you!), you can still enter this competition but don’t worry, your email won’t be added to the database more than once so don’t worry about being spammed with multiple newsletters!

What’s the prize?

The winner of this competition will receive a £150 gift card for any makeup brand or beauty website of their choice and their nominee will receive a £50 gift card for any makeup brand or beauty website of their choice.

Prize Draw Rules

• Entry to the competitions is restricted to one entry per person please
• Multiple entries will be discounted
• Automated entries, bulk entries or third-party entries will be disqualified
• Winners will be chosen at random from all valid entries
• We will require an email address for the winning nominee in order to send them their prize and validate your entry
• Winners and nominees will be contacted via email and their names will be displayed on our website, on our social accounts and in our newsletter
• The Judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered in to
• mamabella has the right to withdraw this competition at any time, but in the event of a cancelled competition all entrants’ details will be removed from our database
• If gift cards aren’t available via the chosen site, the winner and nominee will be given the opportunity to fill their respective online baskets with goods up to the value of £150, or £50, depending on which prize has been won. If the goods equate to less than this value, no cash or credit will be given for the difference
• By subscribing to the newsletter, your email address and name will be added to mamabella’s newsletter database and you agree to be sent newsletters. You can unsubscribe at any time 
• The competition will run from midday on 21 April 2020 until midnight 28 April 2020. All times are in British Summer Time
• Entries made after this date will not be included but your email address may still be added to the newsletter database. You can unsubscribe at any time 
• Your email address and name will not be used beyond those instances listed here
• mamabella is compliant with the Data Protection Act. Our policy is such that we will not pass on your details to any third-party without your prior consent
