Proving, once again, that decent makeup doesn’t have to cost a fortune, high-street retailer Wilko has launched its full Body Collection.
Despite its name, the collection is actually full of products for your face. Almost 100 of them, in fact.
This includes mascara, eyeliners, matte and glossy lipsticks, foundation, eyeshadow palettes, highlighters and more.
The vast majority of items in Wilko’s Body Collection cost around £2 and the most expensive product in the range is a 15-pan eyeshadow palette, coming in at just £6.
These palettes remind us of the brilliant palettes from Revolution, while the shape and design of the lipstick seem to be a nod to the Huda Beauty collection.
And, every item in this range is vegan and cruelty-free!

Designed and developed to give your skin a “lit-from-within” appearance, Wilko claims this foundation provides a buildable, semi-matte and light to medium coverage. The shade pictured is Medium Beige and, while Wilko doesn’t offer a huge selection of shades, you can also get it in:
You’re not going to get a full-day’s wear out of such a budget foundation but pair it with the best setting spray or a good setting powder and this foundation combines coverage and longevity well above its station.

This long-lasting, water-resistant precision liner reminds us very much of the MAC Brushstroke liner, which comes in at £17.50. It has a strong pigment and sweeps on easily.

Make your eyes pop with this ultra volumising mascara. With a unique, oversized silicone brush, Wilko claims that this allows for “full lash coating and maximum coverage of the lashes.”
Wilko sells an amazing cheap mascara from Essence, and this Body Collection version isn’t far off for around the same amount of money.

This Body Collection 15-pan eyeshadow palette features matte and shimmer shades in a range of nude and warm colours. This is a great palette to take you from day to night, and the shades will suit most skin tones.
If you have darker skin, some of these colours may be too close to your natural tone so we recommend the Glamour eyeshadow palette instead – which actually looks remarkably similar to Huda Beauty’s New Nude, the best eyeshadow palette around.
