16th November 2020 | Author: Victoria Woollaston-Webber

Next Sunday – 22 November at 9am – our founder Vicky is going to be doing a live makeup tutorial on Zoom.

It’s all good and well watching YouTubers or influencers showcasing their technical skills, or creating stunning looks, but sometimes you just want simple, easy-to-follow methods for everyday makeup looks.

Plus, many of the best YouTubers are in their mid-20s without the fine lines, eyelid creases and other signs of ageing that makes following the online tutorials near-on impossible! Using concealer in your 20s versus your 30s, 40s and 50s is a very different affair, for example. You can read more in our How to use concealer on mature skin guide.

By doing it live on Zoom, you can get ready with Vicky – following each step on your own face – or feel free to just dial in and watch, and get involved in the chat. Worried you’ll have kids, dogs, partners running around? Don’t worry! It’s going to be super informal.

Vicky’s own toddler will likely make an appearance and the idea is that it will be just a friendly place to find out a bit more about makeup.

This is the look Vicky will be creating:

If you fancy joining us, please enter your email in the form below. We will then email you a Zoom link to join in.

Your email address will *only* be used for the purposes of the Zoom tutorial and will be removed from the list afterwards. If you want to sign up to the mamabella newsletter at the same time, tick the box.

The Zoom link isn’t being posted publicly for this workshop in order to control numbers and make sure it remains a safe and friendly space. We’ve also listed the products we’re going to be using below, in case you want to get ready with us.

If you’d rather just use your own favourite eyeshadow palette, or you have a preferred brush then please use those. You don’t need to buy anything new. You also don’t need to use every single type of product listed below. This is just to give you an idea of what we’ll be using, but please use whatever makes you comfortable.

If it goes well, we’ll be looking to run other similar tutorials showcasing all sorts of techniques or with experts who will answer your questions.

What you’ll need for the tutorial

Below we’ve put the full list of products we’ll  be using for the tutorial HOWEVER there is a lot here so we’ve also put asterisks next to the most important to help you streamline it, if need be.
