You’d have to get an average of four eyelash extension treatments from a salon before you even got near this price, plus those tend to last a little longer and you don’t need any skill to apply them.
That said, now we’ve gotten over the initial shock and outlay, we have to admit that we’re pretty big fans of Lashify UK.
So much so, we’ve already ordered refills in case we run out we’re using them that much. It really depends on how much budget you have to spend and how much versatility you want as to whether you want to buy into the Lashify reviews but if you can afford it, we don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

How to apply Lashify lashes – and what not to do
If you’re anything like us, you would have seen at least one advert in recent months for the lash extension control kit from Lashify UK. The kit promises DIY lash extensions at home and it’s apparently as “easy as applying mascara”.
We have short, blonde lashes, and even the best mascaras – including those in our best mascara for short lashes guide – fail to give us any sort of real length, curl, or volume. As a result, we often turn to either lash extensions or false eyelashes.
The problem with even the very best false eyelashes is that they’re not that easy to apply, they only last a day and they’re not particularly versatile.

Equally, the problem with lash extensions is that they’re usually pricey, you have to make time to have them done professionally and because their bond is so strong, they can cause damage to your natural lashes.
Lashify promises a middle ground – they give you the convenience and versatility of false eyelashes but the slightly longer shelf-life seen with professional extensions. All without damaging your existing lashes.
However, there’s a catch…the Lashify control kit costs £115 and it seems many Lashify reviews that do the rounds on Instagram, etc are from influencers that have seemingly been paid for their review.
With this in mind, we wanted to not only see if the Lashify lash extensions kit is worth the money, and is easy to apply as the adverts suggest but to offer a completely independent and honest review.
We bought the Lashify control kit with our own money – we were not gifted a kit nor have we signed a deal with the company in return for a positive review.

Before we get into the main part of this Lashify UK review, we wanted to explain what you get inside the Lashify Control Kit. Then we explain a bit more about the process involved and give our honest review. If you want to skip these sections and jump straight to our verdict, click here.

Lashify describes itself as “the inimitable DIY luxury lash extension system” and it has won various awards for its patented kit.
To get started with Lashify, you need to buy the Lashify Control Kit. This kit costs £125 and inside the storage box is:
Once you’ve bought the Lashify control kit, you then only need to pay for Gossamer lash refills, or to replace the different parts of the kit. This means you don’t have to pay £115 each time you run out.
A pack of 12 Gossamer lash refills starts at £10 (for the green design) and up to £20 for the Drama, Extreme and Fluffy collections. Others average around £15. The dual-sided bond and mascara is £21. The Glass sealer is £16.
Since we first published this Lashify UK review, the company has released a second version of its Control Kit. This kit offers a wider range of Fuse Wand colours and an almost overwhelming number of lash sizes, colours and types for £185.
In this so-called LED Control Kit, you can choose red, lavender, blue and brown lashes (plus others) as well as a range of shapes in each of the Amplify, Bold and Curl collections. Read on to find out more about these collections.
Lashify/mamabella Lashify sells Gossamer lashes individually. These are the three designs from the Core collection or you can choose refills that give more volume or oomph
The Gossamer lashes are patented, hand-made lash strips made from Korean PBT silk. Lashify lashes are vegan, cruelty-free, and weigh almost nothing.
Each lash strip, which measures about 1cm wide, is curved in a way that’s been designed to fit on the underside of your upper lashes. This is the first major difference between Lashify lashes and regular false lashes that sit in a band on the upper part of your lash line.
Each Control Kit includes a 12mm-long and 14m-long Gossamer of your choice from one of the Lashify Core Collection range. These come in Amplify, Bold, or Curl.
The Fuse Control Wand is an applicator designed to mirror the arc of the lash line. The wand’s horizontal clamp force helps you fuse the Gossamer lashes with your won lashes. You can put the included Wandoms, which are soft covers that go over each arm of the wand.
You then get a double-ended bond stick, and the Glass sealer. One end of the bonding stick houses the black Whisper Light and the other houses the clear Whisper Light. The Glass sealer seals your Lashify look and extends the wear of the Gossamer lashes. You can think of it like a glossy finishing coat and this can be used everyday to refresh your lashes, and add an extra sheen.
Lashify UK Since Lashify UK first launched, the brand has been adding more and more lash collections to its range – from Plus+ to Intimates, Prismatics and more. Each lash type is then available in a choice of lengths within the Amplify, Bold, and Curl range.

To apply the Lashify lashes:
If some of the lashes don’t stick properly, you can apply more of the clear Whisper Light. It’s also really easy to remove the Gossamer lashes and reapply until you’re happy with them.
mamabella tips: Don’t be afraid to “stack” lashes, particularly at the outer corners to give the overall look more oomph. There are 12 lashes in each size so you have enough to experiment with. We also found that resting the wand at the lashline and wiggling it a bit just above the root gave decent coverage
As you can see in our Lashify before and after photos below, the difference is stark. We were really impressed with just how lightweight the Gossamer lashes are and how you barely know they’re on. Even while wearing glasses.
Usually we can’t wear our glasses with false eyelashes because they’re relatively stiff and hit the frames. This was not the case with Lashify lashes.
We opted for the Amplify lashes in 12mm and 14mm and, as you can see, they create a very natural, understated look. We’re huge fans of the overall finish and would happily wear these every day.

There are a couple of downsides, though.
Firstly, the application process is a little time-consuming. It’s not difficult and once you get into a rhythm with it, the application feels much easier and more natural than applying regular false eyelashes. However it can take a bit of practice.
Namely using the Fuse Control Wand without stabbing yourself in the eye…or that might just be us!
As a result, we recommend you set some time aside to experiment with the Lashify Control Kit when you don’t have toddlers running around, or when you’re not on a deadline for a taxi or dinner reservation.
Secondly, the lashes don’t last as long as you may think/hope. The longest they lasted on our eyes was three days, and even then we had to apply the Glass sealer every morning, and fuse them daily, to keep them looking their best.
You can’t wash your face while wearing them, and you definitely can’t swim while wearing them, but you can wash around your eyes, and the less water or oil-based products you get on them, the longer they’ll last.
mamabella tip: If you sleep on your side, we highly recommend you remove the outer lashes and reapply the next morning. Otherwise, you might find them stuck to your pillow, or cheek, or lost completely!
