15th October 2023 | Author: Victoria Woollaston-Webber

The ASOS Advent Calendar 2023 is on sale now! Here’s what’s inside, what it’s worth and where to buy

ASOS ADVENT CALENDAR: AT-A-GLANCE

The ASOS Advent Calendar 2023 summary is as follows:

Price: £90

Worth: £397

Release date: On sale now

Size: 24 days, 24 products

Where to buy: ASOS

Not content with launching just one of the best beauty advent calendars last year, ASOS came out swinging with two versions and with the 2023 calendar season in full force, the retailer has announced this year’s model.

Sadly for 2023 it appears there is only one ASOS Advent Calendar, a 24-day version.

There is no sign yet of the grooming calendar, or a cheaper, entry-level, 12-day ASOS calendar.

If that changes, of course, we’ll update this page.

Below we explain what’s inside the Face + Body ASOS Advent Calendar 2023, its price, and how to buy it.

What’s inside the ASOS Advent Calendar 2023 contents?

You can see all of the ASOS Advent Calendar 2023 contents via our unboxing video below, or keep reading to see the full list.

@victoria_woolly_web The packaging is a bit cheap but for £90 this is not a bad haul of products from the likes of Charlotte Tilbury, Sol De Janeiro, Olaplex, Origins and more. If you were to buy them all separately they’d cost you £397 so you’re saving £307. The Lookfantastic calendar is slightly better value imho but I think some of the products are better in this ASOS calendar. What is the ASOS Advent Calendar worth?

The ASOS Advent Calendar is worth £397. This means that, at £90, you’ll be saving 77% on buying all the products separately.

Is the ASOS Advent Calendar worth it?

It may not be worth as much as other calendars in our best advent calendar list, nor does it have as many full-size products but the balance between the ASOS advent calendar price and the range of brands it offers is up there as one of the best we’ve seen.

Especially given that, for just £90, you can get a Charlotte Tilbury eyeshadow palette, a NEOM candle, and the Caudalie gel cleanser. The packaging isn’t the greatest; it’s flimsy and feels cheap but that does make it easily recyclable and the packaging doesn’t really matter in the grand scheme of things.

ASOS Advent Calendar contents: Deep dive

Below we’ve detailed what each of the contents of the ASOS Advent Calendar do, how they work, and who they’re best for. This can give you an idea of which products will work for you to determine if the ASOS calendar is actually worth it.

  • Arkive The Good Hybrid Hair Oil: This hair oil is designed to smooth, and add shine to your hair. Ideal for all hair types, especially if your hair is dry or frizzy hair. It can be used both pre and post-styling.
  • Caudalie Vinopure Purifying Gel Cleanser: A gel-based cleanser that purifies the skin, and removes excess oil and impurities. Best suited for oily and combination skin types, it helps get rid of acne and unclogs pores.
  • Cetaphil Moisturising Lotion: This dermatologist-recommended lotion promises long-lasting hydration without clogging pores. Suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin. You can see how this lotion performed in our best moisturiser rankings.
Pillow Talk in a Glow box saleCharlotte Tilbury
  • Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Dreams Luxury Palette: This is one of the best eyeshadow palettes we’ve used because it contains neutral shades that you can ramp up, or tone down depending on whether it’s for night or day. As a result, it works for most skin tones.
  • Dr Barbara Sturm Face Cream: Dr Sturm is a really expensive, high-end skincare brand and this cream helps to hydrate the skin. It’s particularly great for mature and dry skin because it promises to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
  • e.l.f. Blush Brush: A synthetic bristle makeup brush designed for blusher.
  • ELEMIS Pro-Collagen Marine Cream: This anti-ageing cream promises to boost collagen to improve skin elasticity. Best suited for mature skin, it helps in reducing the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.
  • Erborian Skin Therapy: A multi-purpose treatment that aims to balance, hydrate, and revitalise the skin. Ideal for combination to dry skin types, it can be used as a day or night cream.
First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair CreamFirst Aid Beauty
  • First Aid Beauty Ultra-Repair Cream: This is a rich cream that promises to hydrate and repair damaged, dry, sensitive, and eczema-prone skin.
  • Grown Alchemist Hand Cream: A hand cream that hydrates and softens the skin. Ideal for all skin types.
  • Iconic London Mini Illuminator Original: A mini-sized liquid highlighter that provides a radiant glow. Suitable for all skin types, it can be mixed with foundation or applied directly.
  • Invisibobble Sprunchie Ballerina: This hair scrunchie offers a strong grip without causing breakage and kinks.
  • Malin + Goetz Lip Moisturiser: A hydrating lip moisturiser that provides long-lasting hydration to dry and chapped lips.
  • NEOM Travel Candle Bedtime Hero: A travel-sized candle designed to promote relaxation and improve sleep quality. Ideal for anyone looking to create a calming environment.
  • Philip Kingsley Elasticizer: We love this pre-shampoo treatment. It helps improve hair elasticity and bounce and is great for damaged or processed hair because it helps in strengthening and restoring hair health.
  • Psychic Sisters Gua Sha: A facial massage tool that helps improve circulation and reduce puffiness. Suitable for all skin types. Read more in our guide to how to use a gua sha.
  • REN Radiance Brightening Eye Cream: An eye cream for dark circles. Best suited for mature or dull skin.
  • Revolution Glaze Oil Glam Pink Lip Oil: This lip oil gives a subtle pink tint.
  • Rituals Body Scrub Ayurveda: A body scrub designed to exfoliate the skin. Ideal for all skin types, it leaves the skin feeling soft and refreshed but be careful when using on irritated skin, and don’t use on broken skin.
  • Sachajuan Hair Repair: A hair treatment for damaged or processed hair that helps repair and restore shine.
  • Sol De Janeiro Bum Bum Cream: This cult body cream hydrates and firms the skin. Suitable for all skin types.
  • Sunday Riley Good Genes Glycolic: A glycolic acid exfoliates and brightens the skin. Best suited for dull or uneven skin tones, it helps improve skin texture.
