@victoria_woolly_web For someone who is generally a fan of Charlotte Tilbury – I feel like the brand dropped off for a bit but I like its more recent skincare in particularly – the Charlotte Tilbury Advent Calendar 2023 has enough different products to make it worth buying. Even if you have a lot of her stuff already. I’m disappointed there isn’t an eyeshadow palette of some variety. Her quad palettes are expensive (at £40) and I was hoping the calendar would be a way of getting one slightly cheaper 😅 For £160 you get 12 days of products the majority are travel-sized. The only full-sized products are the Charlotte’s Magic Lip Oil Crystal Elixir and the Hot Lips 2 lipstick in the shade Glowing Jen. The drawers aren’t numbered so I think I was meant to go top left to bottom right but 🤷♀️ The box is cute and could double up as a jewellery box. It’s also slightly better quality than last year’s. All things considered I’m glad I bought it (it’s not an ad nor was it gifted) but it’s pricey and didn’t blow me away. In terms of budget, the Charlotte Tilbury advent calendar costs £160, which is a significant investment. However, it does contain a lot of products, including a mix of full-sized and travel-sized items.
If you already own some of Charlotte Tilbury’s bestselling products – the Pillow Talk lipstick, or the Magic Cream – you may find yourself getting products you already own. Of course, there’s nothing wrong with having a replacement when one runs out, but it’s worth bearing in mind.
And if you want more of a range of products, you may find a calendar such as the 2023 SpaceNK calendar, or Cult Beauty’s calendar offer more value and a greater number of products from a wider number of brands.
